This and that

So I have been busy today, I went grocery shopping - not that I have much of an appetite - but you do need bread, chocolate and coffee, right??

This afternoon my dad and I went for coffee at my grandmothers.
My mum was at work, she is better now so she have to work this weekend.
I helped my grandma order a lot of audio books, she love to read but her eyes are not that good, so se listen to a lot of books. Then I helped my aunt with some computer problems she had.

I was really tired when I got home, and sometimes I think that being exhausted is a permanent state for me.
But I have figured out why!!
Drum roll please;

I miss my leucocytes, I never really appreciated them before.
I knew I needed them to keep healthy but I never gave them proper appreciation.
They are getting lower and lower and I am getting more and more problems. The newest thing is nosebleeds. I get them a couple of times a day, and I hate it, they are yucky!!

And it makes me worried about the blood tests on Monday. If my test are bad I won’t get chemo on Tuesday, then the hospital postpone it a week.
On one hand I hope they are good so I can get on with the chemo and get it over, on the other hand, I am terrified of getting so sick and in so much pain as last time that I hope they are bad.
But I guess it is better to get it over with.

But it is not all bad; I got a new wig two days ago;)
I buy them on the internet and it drives people crazy that they can`t recognize me, but this is my only chance to try out all the different hairstyles!!
The only advantage from having cancer is that you can change your hairstyle three times a day;)
It was supposed to be red, but it is more golden, it is curly and really long and I love it.

(Oh and I got a new pc programme that can do all sorts of cool things to pictures)

I guess that is all from me for now. I’ll just curl up in my chair and watch the new episode of “Midsomer Murders”, I love that show;)

Chocolate and coffee. You've gotta have chocolate and coffee. Bread I can live without, but chocolate?
Maybe you should offer some chocolate to your leucocytes? Maybe then they'll come back? *ponders*
Also, that wig looks good on you!
Apr. 13th, 2008 07:31 am (UTC)
Bribe my leucocytes to come back with chocolate!!!
Great idea, never thought of that;)
It is worth a try cause I REALLY miss them *sigh*
Glad you like the wig, thanks honey♥

Just agreeing with everyone else and saying you should be sure to mention the nose bleeding to your doctor.

Also, I love the wig....I'm kinda jealous you are able to try so many different hairstyles.

Thanks sweetie,
I have a list written with things to mention to the doctor tomorrow, and the nose bleeding is on it.

Yeah, the diffrent hairstyles is the only advantage from having cancer;)
I find it healthier to buy diffrent wigs, than to moan the loss of my hair.
