I want to play too!!!!

I have stolen this from several people;)

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don' t blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, favorite food, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

If this is too personal, then by all means, delete it. No hard feelings about it either. :)

You write about your family a good bit, but never about yourself. As in are you married or seeing someone?

It is quite okay;)
I am single, no boyfriend. I never had a lot of boyfriends, spend most of my life alone.
I had a friend for a couple of years, he asked me out, we went to the movies and out for a beer and so. It was not in a romatic way but we had a lot of fun.
The minute I got sick he stopped calling me and I haven`t seen or heard from him in eight month. I called him and wrote him but he never replied so I stopped.
And the way I am right now I don`t have the energy to get a boyfriend.
Hope that answers it;)

Thank you for replying to such a personal question. Blah! on the guy though, obviously he was not worth any more energy on your part. I agree, focus on yourself and getting better and who knows, maybe that something special will find you when you least expect it. :)

Yeah one can only hope;)
Mar. 14th, 2008 10:51 pm (UTC)
Is that the guy you talked me about? ToT
I didn't dare to ask you if you saw him recently... But... This is a SHAME è_é
I so would kick him è_é
Mar. 15th, 2008 04:47 pm (UTC)
Yeah it is him.
We used to have so much fun, but I guess me getting sick was a major turn-off for him.
I would kick him too if I could find him^^
Mar. 15th, 2008 10:51 pm (UTC)
I just can't understand him!!!
How could he be so selfish and a coward!
But you deserve a better man than him! YOU DO!
Mar. 16th, 2008 03:14 pm (UTC)
You are right sweetie he is a jerk, and I sure know how to pick them *grrrrrrrr*

I don`t have much luck with boyfrinds I seem to scare them of. But if he can`t hand me getting cancer, then I don`t want to be with him anyway!!Then he will never support me.
Mar. 17th, 2008 04:51 pm (UTC)
You are totally right è_é And I'm pretty sure you'll find better friends and that you already have better friend!
I know... it's not so easy to find someone who would be good for you... -_- But I do know that one day you'll meet a nice and strong man! *nodnod*

"But I do know that one day you'll meet a nice and strong man!"
If he would just show up on my doorstep one day it would be fine;)

(Right now I spend a lot of time with AnnetteBear in my lap watching Supernatural and dreaming of Sammy *sigh*---- I think AnnetteBear might be a Dean-girl, we have a lot of discussions!!)

Hmmmmmm.....Jamie Oliver;)
I love food a la Jamie Oliver, he is my absolute hero!!
I cook all my food the way he would.
I have all his books both in English and in Danish. I have a lifesize cardboard figure of him in my kitchen and an autographed postcard on my wall.
The last time I was in London my mum and I went to see his restaurant "Fifteen".

I am doing good these days. I am extremly tired all the time, but I try and relax. I went to the Tupperware party tonight, it was fun.

♥hugs back♥

I'm pleased you made it to the party it would have been good for you to get out for awhile.

I like cooking, I haven't got any of his books, but I do have some of his recipes.

Have you been to England a few times?

Make sure you do relax and rest, listen to what your body is telling you and I'm sure you'll recover quicker.

Most of my vacations have been to England, London or Colchester. And twice in Scotland, that is my fave country;)
Mar. 14th, 2008 11:55 am (UTC)
hmmm..... let's see here....

If you could do anything... what would it be?
Mar. 14th, 2008 01:31 pm (UTC)
Good question!!

I would probably try and make a living out of my singing-voice.
I have a very nice soprano, but professional education cost a lot of money that I don`t have, so I sing in a choir and for my family and friends;)

Another thing would be moving to Scotland with my parents..
If I should live in another country it would be Scotland;)

I would buy a castle in Scotland and move myself and my parents there and start a Whisky distillery....

That is my secret dream;) not so secret anymore...

I have been thinking of what I could ask you. I don't want to be too personal and just random stuff doesn't seem right.

What would you do if you had the chance to meet somebody(who?) you like/admire a lot? and if you had the chance to take somebody with you who would it be?

I think this is more or less in the middle.

but the most important question I have is How are you doing? Still a few problems with your chemo or is it better now?

*hugs you tight*
Mar. 14th, 2008 07:36 pm (UTC)
You could ask me anything and I would answer if I could.

A person I really admire and would love to meet is the British Chef Jamie Oliver.
I have all his books in both British and Danish, I have a life sized Cardboard figure of him in my kitchen and an autographed card on my wall.
I have a deep respect for all the work he is doing and I find him cute;)
For the past four years all my cooking have been inspired by him, so I would love to meet him some day.

Someone I could keep would be Jared!!
But I am almost old enough to be his mother, but still I am afraid I would be a totally fan girl if I meet him and I would just ruin that..
so I keep that one to my dreams;)

The last chemo was really hard on me, but I am feeling better…..Next week will be my best week before starting again after Easter. If my blood tests turn out well.

*tight hugs and kisses*

Hmm. Jamie Oliver isn't bad but sometimes he has a little strange taste. I absolutely love cooking.:D

as for the chemo I'm sorry. I wish I could do anything to make it better. HOw long do you have to take chemo?

*hugs and kisses back*

Mar. 15th, 2008 04:55 pm (UTC)
I still have three more chemos and after that I start another treatment. But if things go right it will only take the next 5-6 months.
Thanks for the hug, it is so sweet ------ just like you;)

Well, we generally don't talk about our childhood...
Can you tell me your more treasured memory from childhood or something that really made much of an impact on you?
Mar. 15th, 2008 04:53 pm (UTC)
I remember my mum reading bedtime stories for us, I always enjoyed that.
She taught me to cook, we had so much fun cooking together.

My dad made all kind of things in the garden for us to play with and he taught me to shute a bow and arrow, and shute with an air-gun and throw a knife!!

They taught me to appreciate books and music and told me I could do what ever i wanted if I jjust put my mind to it.

Was it something like that you wanted??
