Mum and I went to the airport at 11 on Tuesday to pick up Kerstin.
It went well, we found her and her green suitcase, there were a LOT of hugs and kisses and more HUGS, and we got home for her to feel welcome.
At two we took the bus to our knitting club – Kerstin wanting to meet them and the Ladies there, wanting to meet her – I tried to translate as best I could. It was nice for all I think, the ladies liked Kerstin a lot and I think she liked them too.
Back home, we talked and talked and talked
For dinner, I had cooked a ham and we had it with grilled vegetables.

On Wednesday, Kerstin and I went to the city for her to get some Danish money, and then we went to the cheap chop for a few things and ended up at the Frozen Yoghurt place. Kerstin bought both of us a taste and it was tasty.
We went and bought dinner sandwiches at “Nadia’s Sandwich”
We had lunch with Mum and then went to the Church for “Breast Cancer Light Remembering Ceremony”
There were psalms and the Pastor made a nice speech. About how people were connected through the look, we send each other
Then we had organ music, as we all went to light our candles...
It was a beautiful ceremony.

Thursday Kerstin and I spend the day speaking and speaking and talking some more.
We baked a banana bread, apple pie and a fruitcake...
At three O`clock we met with Mum and went to “Jensen’s Bøfhus” – (Jensen’s Beef house”) where I had booked a table. We had a nice beef with roasted potatoes and gravy with a side dish of salad. It tasted wonderful and we had a nice talk – about Pink Saturday and many other things.

When we got home, we went grocery shopping and watched a Portuguese movie named “The way he looks” – a sweet and innocently lovely gay movie. Then bed...

Friday was a busy day, I went and got the key at 10.30. So at 11.30 Kerstin and I was moving tables and getting rid of chairs. We spend hours there, getting our things up, the other Ladies coming and putting up their things too.

It took way more time that I had thought. The journalist that wrote the article about me, called to hear how things was going. He asked for some pictures and wanted to call me later this month to hear how we were doing, and putting a note in the Magazine for December.

Kerstin went home at one point to make the last cakes.

Mum had made a roasted pork and we got half of it. With curly fries, it was our dinner. Bed was early, as Pink Saturday started at 10.30

Saturday was a busy day.

Kerstin and I started making coffee and tea at around 10.30 and then the rest of the Ladies arrived.

Mum, SIS girls my nieces Rebecca and Benedicte with cakes, and the rest.

Our first costumer came at 10.45 and from that on it was – fine….not as great as it could be, but better than what we had hoped for.
All the women that we knew arrived and bought things from us, made donations and had coffee and bought cake.

Rebecca and Benedicte was in charge of their own booth and the Cake/coffee booth. They were amazing, making 300 kr on the cakes, almost selling all that we had.

We had a “dead” period between 1pm and 2 pm, but then people came again. I think all made good money and when Rebecca drew the numbers for the Build a Bear lottery at 4 pm, we all thought we did good.

The booth Mum, Kerstin and I had made 1742kr, the girls made 300kr on the cakes and 75kr from their sale—as the rest of the sellers had to put down 10% of their sale, the total we made was 2594kr.

Kerstin and I whirled Mum home after the rest of the women left – much to her annoyance but she was SO very tired - and cleaned up. It took a couple of hours and we were tired after that…
Overall, it was a good day. So light dinner and bed.

Sunday Sarah and Thea came around to be with Kerstin – their one day a year...

It was a great day.

Monday Kerstin had to go home again – even if I tried all my tricks to make her stay ;)

I made a birthday breakfast with presents, as I have never really seen Kerstin open my presents, I think she liked what she got ;)

We watched pictures, made a drop box and talked until we had to leave for the airport.

As none of us like goodbyes, it was “see you next year” and "talk to you soon", from Kerstin, Mum and I.

Great photos of all of you! Kerstin is so pretty! (Sorry, I don't know her LJ name!) and you are looking lovely too, and Sarah and Thea have grown up so much! Every time you post a photo of them, they look older!

Nice to meet you too! :) Sorry it took me so long :s

Thank you, we sure did :) I'm pretty sure, it was just different because we've never done it with other people like this, the years before it was just us with our own single booth, you don't think how much of a difference that makes though :D

I would put you in my pocket and keep you forever if I could. The fact that I don´t have any pockets and you being taller than me, might play a part in why I don`t ;)

Next year there will be less stuff and more people to help out, so it will be less stressed I hope.

We are really proud here and we had a lot of fun. I´ll let you know when the overall results come out, so we can see how we did to all the other arrangements in Aalborg.

We look forward to it too, but first birthdays and CHristmas ;)

Love you♥♥
