As you know, I hope, I have had my old pc dying on me…but after 15 years, it was time. Then I got a new PC, laptop, running on the Wi-Fi I have in my flat. However, as you know I have had great problems the PC, and that is why I haven´t been around as much as I would like too.
I´ve been through a week of calling every instance through the line of “helpers” that I could think of, and no one would take responsibility for anything. It was driving me crazy and made me sick.
Saturday my BRO came around with Thea and fixed my PC.
Mum had called him Friday and asked him to help me…. He fixed the problem and scolded me for not calling him for help.
Telling me that he drove past my street every day to and from work, so if I had a problem, text him and he would stop buy after work and help me. I promised to do that.
He also put me on Netflix, so now I can watch tv-shows and movies 24/7..
Thea raided the shoebox for candy and chocolate. She was having her BFF for a sleepover, and that called for sweets. She made sure though, that there were some for Sarah and her parents too ;)

Yesterday, Mum and I were busy ….
This November, our local library collects new and well-kept toys, for charity.
It will go to kids that will not otherwise get Christmas presents this year.
A parent in need will fill out a form with the child’s age and gender and if it is accepted, the family will get a present for the child.
Mum had a lot of new dolls and some bears.
I had a bunch of children’s picture books that have never been read (Books I bought 25 years ago when I still was under the spell that I would have kids someday) and a few new DVD´s.
I too had eight Build A Bear - Bears that have just sat on my shelves for a while.
After delivering the toys – with promise of getting them more later in the month – we went and bought some Christmas presents for the girls.
I bought a Monster High doll for Thea, she just love those dolls. She also gets a wall calendar with “Frozen”.
We are spending Christmas Eve with my sister, and I am invited, so I bought presents for Rebecca and Benedicte too. It is “Rubber band crafting kit” to make bracelets and rings and such. I bought a kit for each and four extra bags of rubber bands.
For Sarah I have a wall calendar with “Sherlock”, so I need more for her.
Then a few more stops to get medication and Christmas stuff and we went home.

Yesterday was “Saint Mortens Day” too... I know I have mentioned it before, but it has always been a sacred Holiday in my family. Now it is just Mum and me that celebrates.
A little History here;
The legend tells, that “Moten Bisp” a humble priest, was called to be a “Bishop”. As his humbleness would not allow him to be so, he tried to hide in a duck farm.
The ducks and geese made a lot of noise and Morten was found and appointed Bishop of Tours on July 4th, the year 371.

Morten decided then that every year we should punish the traitorous geese and ducks...
Morten is Patriot Saint for pets and beggars.

As I was feeling sick when we came home, Mum decided that we would celebrate today instead. Therefore, she have put me on bedrest today ontil tonight so we can eat the dinner today.
I´ll do my best to catch up with everything with you guys.
I am sorry for the Birthdays I have missed… Tell me and I will make “Sorry-Belated” posts for you.

Love you ♥

Glad you have a PC working again! I miss seeing posts and updates and pictures from you!

It's lovely that you and your mum are so generous, and a wonderful scheme the library runs for children. I like the idea that everyone will have a present at Christmas even when their families can't afford it.

Hope you feel better soon! *big hugs*

*Kisses and clings*
Well, you saw my shelfs in October.....they could need a clean-out, right?
A lot of the Picture books have never been read, and a lot of the bears were just sitting there..... If they can make a kid happy somewhere, it is no skin of my nose..... I´m just happy that I can help.

I´m feeling so much better now, that my PC is working and I don´t have to worry..

Love youuuuuuuuuuu♥

Yay for working PC:-)
Funny enough, we have "Martin Luther Day" on November 10th, I think that's the evangelic version! ML was baptized an Nov. 11th and therefore named after St. Martin (as he's spelled here). So kids walk around the neighborhood the evening before, sing a little song and collect candies. But since our area is equally catholic and evangelic, you also see the Martin's geese sold... *awww* and of course also the St. Martin's walk with lanterns. Best of both worlds. *lol*
