Mum and I went to the cemetery with flowers, Angel charm, candle and Rosemary.
Later we went and bought each other a gift…we do that, as we have an old tradition about presents, be it for happy or sad occasions.
Mum bought me a new Troll Beard Bracelet and I bought her a new glass charm...

We then went home to her and had coffee and talked a lot that day.
Saturday, Sarah and Thea arrived for the weekend – well Thea till Sunday and Sarah until Monday evening.

We spend Saturday shopping, watching Tom and Jerry and playing ..
The girls invited Mum for dinner and made sausages rolls and chicken with boiled potatoes and Thea´s salad; chunks of tomatoes, cucumber and spring onions…
After dinner Mum and Thea went to the playground and Sarah and I cleaned up.

As Thea was not at all sleepy at bedtime, we ended up watching more Tom and Jerry cartoons before it was bedtime for all of us...
Sunday started earlier than I´m used to, but that was fine.
We had breakfast, though the pancakes I could produce to Thea; “was not as good as Mummy’s.” In my defence, mine were store-bought.
But there were bread, cheese and ice tea too for them so they didn´t starve.

We spend the morning drawing and painting pictures and Sarah worked on her Franken dolls. We just talked, it was nice.

Around one, we had a play date with Mum to go to the playground, so we packed water and ice tea and snacks and went outside...Then it started raining!! So we met Mum and went back to her place.
We made a beach picnic on her balcony instead.
Sarah had gotten a notebook from me, and we made a brainstorming for her book, Mum and I coming up with ideas.

Thea got some sand and water to play with and she had a blast ;)

After a couple of hours we went home again and my brother came and picked up Thea.
Sarah had promissed Mum dinner so she made potato salad and sausages for her and I made chicken pie and fries for us.
Later we watched “Edward Scissorhands”. Sarah is in love with Johnny Depp right now, so she is working her way through his movies ;)

The movie is so sweet and Sarah really liked it as I do.
Monday morning was nice, Sarah made omelettes for breakfast and as usual it was “Tom and Jerry” the old favourites.

We worked on a flowchart for Sarah’s book and she worked on her dolls some more.

Thea came again around 1.30pm as my SIL was going to work.
She had been in preschool that day and loved it a lot (She starts 0 grade on Monday and the preschool is where she’ll be after school is over)

We played with rubber ducks and my stuffed toys until my BRO came to pick her up.
Then Sarah wanted to watch a scary movie!!
One of the few I had was “The Night of the Living Dead”, that I have never seen as I was coward years ago when it was on TV.

I told her we would turn it of if it got to gory and that was fine with her.
Then we sat though 96 minutes of one of the stupidest movies I´ve ever seen…I actually felt cheated when it was over. I had spent years and years being scared over something that I didn´t had the guts to watch...and then I watched it and it was just blaaaa.
Sarah was laughing her a** off over me!!
Dinner was pork chops and roasted root vegetables and Sarah brought Mum dinner again.
We watched more cartoons and after cleaning up we watched another Depp movie.
This was “What’s eating Gilbert Grape?” one of my all-time favourite movies.

Lovely movie and Sarah loved it too.
Then there were a few hours until SIL would pick up Sarah and she made a few letters and worked on Franken dolls, as I was reading her stories...Even if she would never admit it, she loves to have stories read to her ;)

At 10 her Mum picked her up and that was that weekend…
