To start with that…
Mum had her check up at the hospital on the 6th, and that went well. She was all in the clear. They want to give her another check up in January, but apart from that, her next appointment is in around a year or so…so that was great news.

Friday I had my “female-problem” appointment at the hospital…..
So the things are;
My periods have always been really really strong, since they started when I was 12, getting on for 12-14 days a month…UGH!But I dealt with it.
When I got chemo and radiation therapy though, it messed it up really bad…so for a year I had none, and then it just came back four years ago, getting on for 2-3 days at a time…still really strong, but staying at home that day was not so difficult in my situation.
Then some months ago, it went all crazy…. almost nothing for months, then in September it came back with a vengeance.
So now it has gone on for 12 weeks and I went to the gynaecologist…she was kind and the nurse was too..and Mum was stroking my chin and telling me to breath.. So they took a test for cervical cancer and then they gave me a hormone spiral to make my periods stop….
I felt pretty sick after, so I went to bed when I got home...

Saturday Sarah and Thea came here, as their parents had to go Christmas shopping..we had a couple of nice hours together..

Sunday Thea had a closing in her dance class, but Sarah decided she would rather spend the time here…
So we made decorations and I read a Christmas story for her (a Danish one, that Mum or Dad had read for me and siblings when we were kids). She didn´t know it, but she loved it…
We also had a few “private serious” talks, about periods, boys and cancer…..Sarah worries and I try to tell her the truth in a way a 12 year old can handle…

Other than that…..
We have had A LOT of snow here the past weeks…more than we have had for December in years…it is kind of crazy……for a couple of days I was unable to leave my flat, due to me using a cane and not being that steady on my feet…so poor Mum went grocery shopping for me..

Now it is much better, most snow is gone, so I can get out...
Today I´ve send out the last Christmas presents/Cards YES!!
I hope they’ll reach you before Christmas.
86 it is this year. Fewer than last year, wonder why…Please let me know when yours arrive, so I can see how many get through…and thank you to all of you that have PM´ed me;)
I also got my Christmas tree today.
It is a small one and is still in the car, I have to clean the place for it, before I can get it in.
I really love a tree, it is so cosy with the smell and the lights and such..
Tomorrow Mum and I will go into town, buy the last present, see the lights and probably buy something to eat we can take home.
Friday I have to go to Hjørring, a town 60 km north of Aalborg, to get my yearly mammogram.
If the weather stays like now Mum will be driving.
I am so very sorry for being behind on posts on LJ and mails in RL…I do my best, and I´ll try to get it all done.
So…I Love You♥

I sent the last of my Christmas cards/presents yesterday, I really hope that one makes it in time :).
If you feel in need of more snow, I can always send you some, we have more than enough ;). But I love it - apart from the time it takes to shuffle it away.
Thea and Sarah are adorable as always!!
I haven´t gotten the result of the test yet and hope that means that everything is fine;)
We don´t have snow anymore, but rain and cold:(
♥Big hugs♥
I´ll let you know when I have the test results.
I am so happy that we can spend so much time with the girls, they are amazing♥
♥Big hugs♥
Good luck for Friday, and for the tests you've just had done, *finger's crossed* all goes well for you.
Lovely pics of your girls, they are both so pretty, not so sure about all that snow though, take care XxX
*Big hugs to you all*
I've sent you're Christmas present off, so if you can let me know when you get it that would be awesome! :)
As I told you, I got your presents and I just love them all
♥Kisses♥
You also seemed to have had a wonderful time with Sarah and Thea. They grow up so much. May God bless you and your family. ♥
I am not sure if I understand the period part well. You had them for 12 weeks long? Really? Oh my gosh! That sucks. Believe me. Give it sometime. You will be glad to not have them anymore. My mom does not since a couple of years now and she is so happy.
Merry Christmas! *hugs and smooches*
I´m so glad for Gitte, that the appointment went well. I cross my fingers for yours too! Big, tight Hugs!
Thx for sharing the great pics. ;)
Merry Christmas to you all!

Ahh, you have snow! I love the snow, but I know it can get dangerous when it gets slippery! You have a lovely view from your living room!
Great pics of the girls, they look like they're having fun!
Thank you for always sharing about you♥
