Sort of became a quotation for us ;) Even Mum asked when I spoke to her on the phone; “Are you watching those guys that take their clothes off”...or texts to Sarah, when she asked from Berlin, what we were doing;” We are watching boys taking their shirts off, as that is Kerstin’s favourite pastime.”
And we watched a lot of Teen Wolf ;)

Wednesday we got up a bit earlier as we had a Lunch appointment with Mum. She invited us out for “A steak and salad lunch” at “Jensen’s Bøfhus” (Jensen’s Steakhouse)
So we had breakfast and showers and went to the car at noon.
Our table was ready for 12.30 and we all had the *lunch beef* – a 180g steak, roasted potatoes and a *Jensen* sauce. We had free salad bar with it.
It was a great meal and we had a great time, eating and talking and getting more salad even when we thought we’ve had enough.

Jensens bøfhus

After a great time there, Mum went home and Kerstin and I went to the Mall…the only one we have here…
We spend a couple of hours there, buying presents and just having fun.
I bought Mum and Kerstin a build a bear each and we both bought metal signs. Kerstin bought for her family and I bought one for her birthday...so much easier to make her take it home, than me sending it...it said something like : “I know people are living in their own world. I just wish they would stay there and not visit MINE”….

What Kerstin bought for herself;)

We just went window-shopping then and Kerstin got a stalker in the News Paper Boy ;)

When we were done we went to the bus station and Mum picked us up.
We had some grocery- and pharmacy shopping and the, home for more Teen Wolf ;)

At 8.00 we were ready in front of the computer with water and some really sugary cereal snacks for Steve’s Stageit concert.
And even with the occasional connection fallout we had a great time, great show and great songs, and I think Kerstin liked it as she had never seen a show.

Thursday the weather turned out fine so we took the bus into the city...I had to buy Euros for our family in Bosnia, so we started there and went to the pedestrian street.
We went through “Jomfru Ane Gade”, that is a really famous street here, where all the pubs and restaurants are. The entire youth from Northern Jutland, with visits from Sweden and Norway come here on Fridays and Saturdays…
I showed Kerstin my favourite’s shops, including the bookstore where I got an education 16 years ago.
We went to see The Underground Museum and then went to the Harbour.

The only place you are allowed to drive your car into the harbour^^

After that we went to a great sandwich shop and bought dinner.

Then the bus back to visit Mum, where Kerstin made friends with Balder and Nanna.
We had Coffee/Tea and some sandwiches.
After a few nice hours we all went out grocery shopping and then home for more Teen Wolf and our great sandwiches for dinner.

Friday we slept late as we only had a Mum out for dinner that day.
So that day we watched more of Teen Wolf, season 2.

K5oktober2012 02

We’ve bought some really American drinks at the grocery shop, Cream soda and Root Beer.
No offense to our lovely American friends, but Root Beer is the most disgusting thing any of us have ever put in our mouth...the Cream Soda could be drunk in a little sip, as it tasted like vanilla, but other than that, we threw it out and went back to our water

Poor Kerstin;)

We ended with episode five at season two, as Kerstin thought it would be a great place to end it for me.
We started dinner, pork chops, broccoli/sweet peas, rice and béarnaise sauce, as Mum came for dinner at 5.30- we talked and ate and had a great evening, all thinking about an early night, as we were having an early morning Saturday.

Kerstin got her things packed and we had breakfast, before BRO brought Sarah by at 9.
She had bought presents for us in Berlin, I got a black RubberDuck with “BERLIN” written on it, Kerstin got a Bear figurine and Mum a mug with Brandenburger Tor on it. We took bus at 9.30.and arrived at the tent 20 minutes later.
We got a good place and put up all our things and started waiting for customers ;)

Happy Sale Girls

The first sale we had was one of Sarah’s pearl decorations, and she was proud..It was a bit cold, but as people started arrived in town and look into the tent that helped. We had people coming by, some to watch, some to buy and some to talk. Sarah blew up balloons for the kids and she and Mum handed them out, I sold, and Kerstin made sure the table looked nice at all times, and all four of us talked to customers.
We got fruit and water, and Sarah got popcorn and cakes too. We bought lottery tickets and made a few winnings ;)

Around 1.30 we got less and less people coming, so we packed up and went home, getting something to eat and talking some more.

Sarah and Kerstin, proud but a little cold;)

We had sold for 500kr, (around 65 Euro), so we were proud.
Sarah stayed till 4, and we left at 4.50 for the airport. It was hard saying goodbye, but we managed and Kerstin went home…I hope she’ll come back sometime again;)

It seems like you had a fun week filled with great stuff!! (I have to admit I'm getting hungry when I read about all the food though ;)). It's sad when such a great time has to end.

Wait what? She hadn't seen a Steve gig before? Sad to start with this one because of the quality, although I convinced a colleague to give it a try and when I apologized for the poor quality (I had a LOT of hang ups) she said it gave her enough that she'll be back next time. Mission accomplished. :D

Do you still have some of the things you've been selling? Beautiful things to support a good cause? What else would I need...
Oct. 14th, 2012 07:21 pm (UTC)
We had such a wonderful time, and yes we eat a lot;)
Nope never, but she liked this one. We didn´t have that many fallouts as others it seemed, so I think she will try and watch another.
No,there can never be to many Steve fans^^
I still have bookmarks and earrings(20kr each) and keycharms(15kr each) Mum has agreed to knit 20 christmas ornaments (20kr each) if anyone wants some.
So please let me know if you want anything.

ah yes, that sums the week up nicely :)

we did have a great time, didn't we? *clings* I really enjoyed staying with you and all the stuff we got up to. I just wish they would hurry up with the dvds of the second season! the only way I can figure out right now that you could keep watching would be online, and I'm not sure how that would work with the kind of internet connection you have. you'd have to be online the whole time I think :(

and I am so gonna buy both boxes once the second season gets out :D

I could totally go for one of those sandwiches right now!!

We had the best time Honey, and so did Mum and the girls♥

My BRO found me a link where you can watch all kind of TVshows online for free, so I think I can watch Teen Wolf there;)
And buy them later.

Wish I could post you a sandwich....

It is my favorite too! He is just the cuttest thing ever!♥

Aww, looks like such a fun week! And awesome that you sold so much stuff too!
Oct. 15th, 2012 11:13 am (UTC)
Thanks Hon it was.
We are so proud as we actually got 1/20 of the money (10.000kr) they were going for;)

Oct. 15th, 2012 07:44 am (UTC)
It sounds like you had an awesome time with your friend Kerstin! And I love that you got to sell some of your beautiful things - how awesome! You all look so happy in the pics!

Like you, I think root beer is disgusting, but I do like creaming soda (which is what we call it here) as the flavour is so subtle and you really have to drink the whole glass/can to appreciate it. It's especially nice in a milkshake flavour though. ;-)

HI, btw, I've been off in my own little world, but I'm trying to catch up a bit! *waves* Can't go back too far, as it'll get ridiculous, but here I am at last! ;-)
Oct. 15th, 2012 11:25 am (UTC)
Thanks darling for your kind words, we had a great time and I was so happy;)

The cream soda here, was like sparkling water with vanilla taste....I could drink it, but not enjoy it;)

I´m behind too, so I´ve told people to get me a link, if there is anything important I need to read;)

Oct. 15th, 2012 10:37 am (UTC)
Congrats on selling so much, that's great! And ROFLMAO at the harbour pic!

I never tasted root beer, and now I don't think I will... I did have a cream soda in an american diner though. No idea if it was "original", it was Cola with a scoop of vanilla icecream. Actually pretty good if you need a caffeine-and-sugar flash... *lol*
Oct. 15th, 2012 11:27 am (UTC)
Thanks Owl we are proud;) LOL I like that picture a lot, it is so ridiciolus..

The cream soda we bought was like sparkling water with vanilla taste, not nice*shudders*

Oct. 15th, 2012 12:26 pm (UTC)
Hahah that's not cream soda, Ele. That's a Coke float. I feel like I need to defend our soda to y'all because what they sell over there as "American" soda is not actually what they sell here. And it's a very different taste. That being said if you aren't used to it-it is weird.
Oct. 15th, 2012 01:00 pm (UTC)
Well it sounds like you had a really awesome time with Kerstin. Its so nice that y'all were able to get together. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

And awesome that she got to see the Stageit show. :-) Did you share some of the other music with her while she was there?

So she got you watching Teen Wolf? LOL that does seem to be a fandom that is sneaking up on people. I find I can take or leave it...it all depends on my mood. I'm not caught up on season 2 at the moment.

*sighs* I feel like I need to defend American Soda to y'all. For one thing--what I'm seeing in the pictures does not look like any American Soda I've ever had. Not a brand I recognize AT ALL. And you really can't drink it out of a can and get the right taste. The aluminum of the can distorts the taste. I rarely drink soda out of cans--normally either plastic or glass bottles or from the tap somewhere. Oh well. Plus root beer and cream soda are probably the worst ones to start with because they're an acquired taste.

Okay enough ranting. I'm glad you had a good time!
Oct. 15th, 2012 04:13 pm (UTC)
Ohhh we had a wonderful time honey..if you ever need a vacation you are more than welcome here.

She loved the StageIt show, and she copied all of my SC cd´s;) So now she is prepared....

I like Teen Wolf..I don´t crave it, but it is fun, even if my favorite guy never takes his shirt off;)

Awwww sorry about THE ICKY STUFF..it it what my supermarket sold, so we tried it...I´m sure the REAL stuf isn´t as nasty...

How are you doing hon??
Oct. 20th, 2012 01:29 pm (UTC)
LOL well I'll keep that in mind. It's a bit far for me. If I ever get over to Europe though :-)

Awesome! Another fan :-)

LOL Yeah Stiles never does take his shirt off. I'm *thinks* I've only seen a couple of season 2 episodes. Just have so many other things I watch. I'll catch up at some point.

*shrugs* Not everyone likes pop. My best friend doesn't drink it at all. And maybe it was just that flavor you didn't like.

I'm doing better. We have a family wedding today. And then a memorial tomorrow. It was decided to delay the memorial for my great-aunt since everyone was coming for the wedding today rather than having them come for the memorial and then come again for the wedding. So we get to run the gauntlet of emotions this weekend.
