1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next 4-7 sentences on your LJ along with these instructions.
5. Don't you dare dig for that "cool" or "intellectual" book in your closet! I know you were thinking about it! Just pick up whatever is closest (unless it's too troublesome to reach and is really heavy. Then go back to step 1).
6. Tag five people.

This is so cool, I was tagged by kasiopeia
My choice of book was the first english one I got my hands on, that I don`t feel like translating some danish book...

It is an old worn-out copy of Louisa M. Alcott`s "Little Women"...I don`t know how old it is, but I know that my parents bought it for me eight years ago in a second hand book store in Wales!!

I put in another line to save poor Meg..
I so love this book, and I actually collect them...in different covers, years, languages and so on...

"Oh dear!" Sighed Meg; I wish I`D been sensible, and worn my own things; then I should not have disgusted other people, or felt so uncomfortable and ashamed of myself."
She leaned her forehead on the cool pane, and stood half hidden by the curtains, never minding that her favourite waltz had begun, till someone touched her; and turning, she saw Laurie looking penitent, as he said, with his very best bow, and his hand out,-
"Please forgive my rudeness, and come and dance with me."

For this one I tag:

HIYA!!!!!!!!!!!
*BISOUS*
I'll do it!!!! ^O^

Le ciel rit, l'air est pur ; tout le jour, chez mon hôte,
C'est un doux bruit d'enfants épelant à voix haute ;

Oh crap, I am at work and the book nearest to me is a trash novel I hide in my desk for reading at lunch time. So do have pity on me and don't think too badly of me. :)

"He sensed that something inside her changed in that instant. For one thing, her face softened. She crossed the room to stand just before him. Her gaze searched his as she reached a hand up to touch his cheek.

That simple touch wrecked him. How could he have such emotions? For centuries he had felt nothing for anyone."
