My pledge?
I promise to make something handmade for the first 5 (10) people who comment on this post.

You must then post this on your own LJ/ (if you can or will) and make something for the first 5 people who comment on it.

The rules?
Items must be handmade* by you and the recipients must receive them before the end of 2012.

So what are you waiting for?

*when it says handmade, it doesn't have to be anything major like a chest of drawers. It can be anything as simple as some graphics (if you don't want to give out your address), or a card, or origami, crafts, sewing, knitting, food related, anything at all.

What you get from me will vary according to who answers and where I have to get it to.............

1. Comment on this post.

2. I will give you a letter ( if you want one)

3. Think of 5 fictional characters and post their names and your comments on these characters in your LJ.

I got M from jennytork

In no particular order

Merlin - Supposed fictional I know;) I have always been fascinated with witchcraft and such, and I was a little girl when I first watched ”Disney’s The sword in the Stone”. The Merlin there that could make all his things fit into a handbag, made a deep impression on me. The ”Merlin” series makes me like Merlin even more.

Minnie the Moocher - ”Minnie the Moocher” is a jazz song first recorded in 1931 by Cab Calloway and His Orchestra. May be a strange choice, but my parents played a lot of records when I was a child, and I so loved the rhythm in this song..it is one of the songs that made me want to sing jazz for real.

Mary Poppins - I loved reading the books - written by P.L Travers - when I was a child, I had the first four and there were gorgeous illustrations in them. In the books Mary Poppins was a strict Nanny, but took Jane and Michael on wonderful adventures. (My best friend Marie got my books when I was 17 and after her death, they got lost)
I watched ”Disney’s Mary Poppins” when I was 10 and I liked her too, she was just so different and had a wonderful bag. (Some people in my life had called my shoulder bag a ”Mary Poppins” bag, as I usual can produce whatever you need in a given situation from it^^)

March sisters (Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy) - I don´t think it is a secret that one of my favourite books in the world is Louisa May Alcott’s ”Little Women”. The book about the four March sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, and their life during The Union War. I collect different editions of the book and have 12 books in English and Danish;) (I used to buy copies during my holidays in England and Scotland)

Mrs. Lovett - She is the pie baker from ”Sweeney Todd”. I watched the musical in our local theatre when I was in my early twenties. I immediately got hold of the lyrics and learned all of the libretto for Mrs. Lovett and Joanna;)
I know that a lot of people thinks that she is just crazy. And yes she is, but I think that she is also caring towards Todd and Toby, and really wants a life together with them.

I hope some of you will participate in my great memes here;)
♥love you♥

I have to go to a shop to buy something on monday, hope they have it this time, cause I'm not sure i can send stuff with a rice filling overseas without the rice going bad, which would ruin the present :D
