First THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of you, for all the amazing comments on my last post.
I am so lucky to have friends like you♥
I know I owe you fics and stuff, but I’ll do my best to get it done soon.

The time of the month again is the parcels to our Bosnian families.
This month our family with the two girls and parents are getting parcels.
Our families are Muslims, but we send Christmas presents to them anyway.
It is important that they get to know our traditions, and we get to know theirs.

I have been selling some of my Dads things on an online auction, and we use the money we get in on the parcels…
We still have a lot of stuff to sell, so hopefully we get more money in.

Today my brother came down to my Mum with Sarah and Thea, so I went and spend a couple of enjoyable hours with them.
My brother helped Mum with the car, oil and stuff, as neither she or I know anything about cars..

My “poor” sister on the other hand isn’t getting enough attention, so now she wants a divorce….she is the one with my two adopted “China” nieces…..
She is the worlds biggest drama queen..

I haven’t been at rehab this week because of to much pain, but I have to get back next week, or I will get in trouble;)

Well, I think this is all for now;)

♥hugs and love you♥

What a cool idea. I normally do my charity through my Angels group, but I don't have a soldier this year. I'm sure I'll be sending cards soon...I need to get my list of names still though. :-)

Just ignore your sister, but maybe give your nieces some love if you can. They'll need it. And have fun with your mum and the girls!

We´ve had those families for six years now, so they are kind like our "real" family. Wonderful people that decerves what ever we can do for them.

Ohh cards sounds good;) I´ve been buying gifte the past two months, so I think I have it all ready for my flist now;)

I´m not getting involved in their petty problems, I´ve just gotten to see the girls again, and they are not gonna ruin that.

Oh that's awesome that you can keep the same families year after year.

*nods* I need to get my act together and get to work...I've got gifts I need to work on and finish. Probably not going to happen today (we did yard work yesterday so I'm rather stiff and sore), but hopefully I'll get my room clean in a bit and get myself organized at least.

That's good...glad to hear that :-)

It is through a non-profit association here in Denmark. My Mum worked with the woman that started it, due to her marriage to a Bosnian. Mum, Dad and I, wanted to help in a place where you could see it actually helped so we signed up for one family. You then have to send the minimum of four packages a year. Two years later we signed up for another family and now we send 6 packages to each family a year. One month one family, the other month the other and so on.
The families are obligated to write letters to us, to let us know if they get the packages, can use the stuff we send and how they are doing.
We have become quite attached to the families and get very personal letters. They have been told everything about my cancer and the treatment, when my parents moved, how Sarah and Thea are doing…
So it is a very personal thing we have here, not just about sending things to them..

I hope you get over all your cleaning and get time to do the things that needs to be done;)

Sorry this got a bit long;)

That's really neat the way it works. And nice that y'all have become friendly over the years.

Sometimes the Angeling works like that and sometimes it doesn't--it all depends on the soldiers you get.

No worries about it getting long. I'm answering quickly because I'm writing and doing other things right now.

Yeah...I need to get up and start cleaning but well I can't seem to find the energy...maybe in a couple of minutes. :-)

Oh... I hope you'll feel better soon enough hon♥
Oh, yes! Your two "Chinese" nieces are just so adorable^^ Well, I hope your sister would truly think before talking about divorce... it's not as easy as it seems I think.

Hey! Those are really beautiful presents^^
I'm pretty sure your Muslim family will like them.
You know, Muslim had always leave in Serbia and then is Jugoslavija and were Ortodox or Catholic before becoming Muslim so they are used to Christian church celebrations.
I remember my uncle's neighbour in Bosnia was a Muslim, he was a really funny man and I'll always remember that he helped my uncle to run away from Bosnia when Muslims attacked his village. I wish I could have say thanks to him because he remembered that my uncle was his friend even if he isn't Muslim and it is really important that some people remember that humans are more important than anything else.

Thank you sweetie♥
I hope my sister thinks again, but somehow I know she only thinks about herself...I feel sorry for the girls, they are amazing and I´ve just gotten to see them again, so I´m not letting anything ruin that.

I didn´t know they used to be Ortodox or Catholic before they became Muslims...I glad that someone helped your uncle get away. What counts is the people not our beliefs, we should remember that more.

♥love you♥
