PHONE COMPANIES ARE WEIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometime ago I told you how I hated my phone company for sending me four bills a month and charging money for every bill…
It started after the company I’ve had for 20 years got changed into a new company along with several others.
So in July I got mad and cancelled my phone - I have a cell, so I really didn’t need the stationary one.
There is one month cancellation. Early in august the company called to make sure I wanted to cancel and I did. The salesgirl I spoke to, told me to ignore the bills I got in August as I would get a closing bill in September. So I did.
I got a bill in august, ignored it and went to Scotland. When I came back, another bill was waiting telling me I’ve missed a payment and that they would need 100 dkr in interest. I ignored that too, as I had been advised.
The 31 of August my phone was closed and I got a bill for the calls I’ve made in August…I paid it and all was good…NOT!!!!!!
Yesterday I got a bill again telling me that my phone would be disconnected on the 14th , due to missing payments and that I had to pay for it to get reopened…..
So the big question is; how are they going to disconnect my phone on Monday, and when will they learn to cooperate with each other at the phone company??

Well communication is their business - only not with each other or you.. Sometimes you have to just give up.. Sorry you've had so much trouble..

They hate customers that´s for sure....I tried to call them to clear it up, but after they put me on hold for 50minutes I was ready to kill someone and gave up...
Now I have to see what they do on Monday;)

How very annoying! Phone companies are a pain, best to be rid of them I guess.

It is almost funny now whit all those weird letters I get from them.....but I´ll await Monday and see what they will do;)

They do not appear to have planned well for the transition from one company to another and also don't seem to input information (such as what you've told them about the bills sent in error.)
For your own protection, you might want to register a complaint with whatever government agency there is in your country about what has happened since the new company took over and keep a record of the name of the salesperson who called you to confirm the cancellation of your phone - especially as the call came from the company. That call shows that somewhere your request to close your phone was received.

No I´m not the only one with problems...Loads of people suffer under the new company.
They´ve even send my Grandmother bill for internet connections!!
She is 84 and never ever had a pc^^

I got some mails I´ve recieved and I kept them, so I can prove what have happened.
ANd my phone got closed on August 31...so I don´t know what they´ll do come Monday;)

That sucks, it's so annoying when they mess up like that and trying to get it sorted seems to take forever. Hope you get it worked out quickly.

It is extremely annoying...but I´m not the only one with problems. A lot of people suffer since the phone companies changed....they even send my Grandmother a bill for an internet connection!!! I mean she is 84 and have never seen a pc....
